It's May!

It's my favorite month and I am so excited. Not only are classes over tomorrow and my birthday Sunday but it is absolutely beautiful out today, 80+ degrees! I took a walk earlier in jeans which was a huge mistake so I decided to spend the rest of the day in Lilly! HOORAY IT'S MAY!

Spring is in the Air

Spring has finally hit New England. And when I say finally, it has been a long time coming.  We had such a cold, long winter and it seems like it hasn't wanted to quite give up.  But with the nice weather it makes me even more excited that this is my last week of classes for the semester.  How beautiful is this tree on the block over from me!?

Yesterday I went and watched some of the best people I know run in a 5k supporting local people suffering from Parkinson's.  Although I was just a spectator this year, I am really hoping to be able to participate in it next year.  It was in a beautiful park along the Hudson River and I got to wear one of my favorite Lilly dresses.

Today was absolutely wonderful.  I spent the morning gong to my second last day of classes (eeee!) and then met my good friend AO for froyo and a lot of catching up/planning our summer.  We celebrated her getting a research position over lots and lots of chocolate. I swear the closer to finals I get, the heavier my froyo gets.

AND THEN I CAME HOME TO THIS BEAUTIFUL BOW! I got it from Raven Koontz etsy store and I would highly recommend her and her shop!

I'm 20 something (with a birthday next week!)

I have two cats, Chubbers (aka Chubs, Chunk, Bub, or whatever the heck comes out of my mouth...) and Little Girl (aka Girly). Did I mention I'm a little crazy and a cat lady? 

I'm in nursing school and will be graduating in December 2014... only 597 days away. No I'm not counting...

I'm obsessed with crafting and DIYs.

Joining the Blogging World!

I've been wanting to join the blogging world for awhile now, but haven't quite known how to do so.... so I've decided to just jump in! I'm currently going to school to be a registered nurse and hoping this blog will help keep me sane while I finish my degree. I cannot wait to be a nurse and to be done with school! I've grown up in New England and am going to school in Upstate New York (in the middle of nowhere!). Planning on moving south as soon as I graduate, seriously right after I take the NCLEX and I cannot wait! My blog will be a collection of my life, my food, my DIYs and some of my other obsessions.
